What steps must you take to experience freedom from the influence of evil dedication to idols?
i. Sincere repentance – Proverbs 28:13
ii. Thorough examination of your background. Undertake a research into the circumstances that led to the death of your ancestors.
Have you found an evil pattern in your family line? Are there some particular problems, which have remained prevalent in your family? Carry out a thorough investigation.
iii. Personally identify any dedication that might be working against your life. Cancel the effect of this evil dedication.
iv. Prayerfully rectify your foundation.
If you continue to live under the influence of an evil foundation, your life will remain problematic. If your spouse happens to come from a foundation of evil dedication, your marriage will continue to be turbulent.
v. Finally, destroy all satanic altars.
Don’t ever joke with the problems of evil dedication. I challenge you to try until every mark attached to your life is completely robbed off.
The Good News.
Jesus has delivered us from the power of evil dedication through His death, burial, and resurrection (Col. 1:13-14, 2:14-15)
Nevertheless, the mere fact that Jesus has delivered us from the power of evil dedication, and you are born again, will not automatically deliver you from the power of evil dedication. You must recognize it, take the steps above, and destroy it by renunciation. Just as salvation is not complete until there is confession (Rom. 10:9,10), deliverance must be preceded by verbal pronunciation.
So, legally, the believer now has authority to break and deliver himself from evil dedication.
