There is profit in every labour. Innumerable profits await you if you labour to live a holy and righteous life. Apart from the other benefits, you are instantly guaranteed a completely new and fulfilled life in Jesus, and you also enjoy God’s presence continually.
Proverbs 14:34 says:
“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”
Whereas sin brings a curse, righteousness brings blessings.
Read Psalm 112:1-3 from your Bible.
Righteousness is usually in place wherever you see God’s blessings. While the wages of sin is death, the wages of righteousness is life more abundant. There is a lot more pleasure in righteousness than there is in sin.
