To be engaged to someone in the dream when you are not actually married foretells two things:
First, if the person you are engaged to is a known person and you are dating, it may suggest positive confirmation.
Secondly, if the person you engaged with is not a known face, it may possibly mean spirit spouse. Pray for divorce from spiritual marriage.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP FOR 15 MINUTES ATLEAST.
STAND ON ISAIAH 43:9 & 1 JOHN 5:8: USE THE WITNESSES (the Spirit, the water and the blood) mix them in a bottle symbolically and pour it on the ground for a witness with the earth to divorce the spirit spouse.
The Spirit is symbolically represented by a blessed anointing oil.
The water is symbolically the Word of God(Ephesians 5:26)
The communion wine represents the blood of Jesus symbolically.
The mixture of these three in a bottle will be the witnesses you need for a divorce with the spirit spouse.
With your witnesses pray like this.
You spiritual spouse (power from the water), that is marrying me spiritually, I summon you right now in the name of Jesus Christ. And I hereby declare to you according to Colossians 1:13-14, God has delivered me from your power and authority and translated me into the kingdom of Jesus Christ when I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior through his blood. According to Colossians 2:14-15, Jesus blooted out the handwriting of the covenant and legal ground you have against me and nailed it to his cross with his blood because the lawful captives shall be delivered. Jesus spoiled principalities and powers which included you and made a public shew of you and triumphed over you with his blood through his death, burial and resurrection. The victory of Jesus over you is my victory because am in Christ Jesus according to 2 Corinthians 5:17. And according to 2 Corinthians 11:2, I am married to Jesus Christ because I am espoused to him as a chaste vagin. I cannot be married to Jesus and also be married to you because it is written in Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters,” therefore, with the witnesses I have according to 1 John 5:8,(the Spirit, the water, and the blood) pour it on the ground/floor, I divorce you, by the blood of Jesus Christ in the name of Jesus Christ. Therefore, by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ I command you to stop in your operations against me, stop your manipulation against me. By the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ I command you to cease and desist in your maneuvers. By the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ I command you to take your hands off me. I declare to the heavenlies, I am no longer married to the spiritual spouse , I am married to Jesus. The Spirit bears me witness, the water bears me witness, and the blood bears me witness according to 1 John 5:8. (Pour the witnesses on the ground/floor). I plead against you the blood of Jesus (for as long as you can).
This fast must commence by 12 midnight.
Stay on this prayer as long as it takes until you receive a note of victory-encounter.
