We must walk in truth, love and closely with God.
“And walk in love, as Christ also hath love us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour” (Eph. 5:2).
The church is not only seated with Christ, she must show forth fellowship with Him by walking in love and truth. We must live a life of true love, obedience and godliness. Our walk will show forth our true state of heart and life. If we are not walking in love and in the truth, then we are powerless against the enemy. Hatred in the heart and untruthful living will make us walk by sight, not by faith. We must walk in the truth of God’s word. We must walk wisely, not as fools and we must walk worthy of our calling and live only to glorify and honour Him. It is then we stand a chance against the enemy of God and man. The closer we walk with the Lord, the more power we have over the enemy.
