THE CATCHING AWAY OF THE CHRISTIANS 1

THE CATCHING AWAY OF THE CHRISTIANS 1

We know from the order of events predicted in the Bible that Jesus can not return to Earth as Christ the Messiah until after the “man of sin” has been revealed and has run his course of the seven – year Tribulation Period, eventually “sitting in the temple of God, shewing, himself that he is God.” That still is in the future. Some people, however have mistakenly applied that “second-coming” prophecy to the rapture of the church, which is an entirely wrong interpretation.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout…..”
1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17.

Will you be ready when that time comes? Do you know Jesus as your Savior? If Jesus were to come for His saints today, would you be lifted up into the glories of heaven to live in God’s presence and splendor for all of eternity? Or would you be left to go through the terrible judgments of the Tribulation Period and possibly even wind up with Satan in the Devil’s hell?

You can be sure of your salvation and of heaven if you ask Jesus to come into your heart and to cleanse it from all sin. He loves you very much and will save you if you will only receive His love and His forgiveness. He already has paid the price for your redemption by suffering and bleeding and dying on the cruel cross of Calvary outside the walls of Jerusalem.

Now He offers you a full pardon and a place in His heaven for all of eternity. All that He asks is that you be humble enough to admit that you have committed sin like everyone else and that you are sorry for that sin. He has promised that “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Are you the “whosoever” today? Will you accept my Savior and Lord as your Savior and be cleansed from all sin and be ready for God’s heaven and Home? God loves you and invites you, saying,

“Come unto Me all ye that weary and heavy laden: take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for My yoke is easy and My burden is light, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
(Matthew 11:28).

shalom!
