Another method and weapon used by the devil to fight men and women is ignorance. Ignorance can be likened to a chain used for binding the hands and legs of people in order to make their escape and freedom impossible.
Ignorance is the devil’s weapon. The Bible says: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge I will also reject thee…”(Hosea 4:6). The devil is very much aware that as long as he keeps you in the dark about his nefarious activities against you, he will continue to wreak more havoc in your life. His success therefore, lies in his ability to keep men ignorant of his devices against them.
However, if you are born again, by inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior, you are admonished to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-11).
To be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might is to be strong in the WORD and be filled with the Holy Ghost praying always in the SPIRIT.
To put on the whole armour is to wear the various aspects of the armour which symbolize spiritual truth.
