The issue of unanswered prayers has bothered many beloved children of God. Many people have stopped praying as a result of what looks like an outright denial or a delay after a period of persistent heart-felt prayer. The devil hates prayer. He will do everything to hinder you from praying. He either influences you to become too busy to pray, or he clusters your mind with anxiety, tension, discouragement, fear and inordinate passion for mundane things.
When he cannot succeed, he will try to tamper with the result of your prayer. This can be very frustrating.
Therefore, there is need for us to find out why our prayers are not answered or why our packages have not arrived after we have received confirmation in our spirits that God has answered.
In Daniel 10, we were told of how Daniel fasted and prayed for twenty-one days before he received an answer. This delay was not from God but from the controller spirit in charge of the location where Daniel lived.
In verse 12–14, the angel who came with Daniel’s package told him that right from the first day he began to pray, his prayer was answered and he, the angel, was dispatched immediately to deliver the package to Daniel. However, the prince of the kingdom of Persia intercepted the angel at the illegal spiritual border checkpoint between heaven and earth. This prince was a ruler spirit (spirit personality), in charge of Persia who would not allow this angel to cross the illegal spiritual border checkpoint to planet earth where Daniel lived to give him his blessing.
Daniel knew that the fault was not from God. He knew God’s faithfulness hence he refused to take ‘no’ for an answer. He knew that something was wrong in the realm of the spirit. He knew what it would take to clear goods that had arrived at the spiritual border checkpoint. He also knew that it would take warfare to release the goods that had arrived at the spiritual border.
Daniel knew that it would take persistent warfare prayers to release the goods from the spiritual checkpoint in the heavens. He knew that grumbling, murmuring against and questioning God would not bring any solution. Daniel knew that the answer would come only after he has released some prayer propelled ballistic missiles into the spiritual war zone where the spiritual check point is located.
Daniel was not ignorant that God had already finished His part of the job. He knew that the remaining part belonged to him and therefore refused to give up. He continued in warfare prayer until the intervention of a higher power, archangel Michael, who came to rescue Daniel’s ministering angel, held hostage at the spiritual checkpoint for twenty one days.
Daniel’s experience is exactly what happens to many believers today. The lack of understanding of the place of warfare prayers in releasing our miracles, has kept many believers away from God’s plans and purposes for their lives.
Beloved, there is war going on every passing moment in the heavenlies against you. No one has ever won a battle in the physical without first winning in the realm of the spirit.
Therefore you must fight to win this battle.
