There is an illegal spiritual border between heaven and earth. This is what I call the “Spiritual Checkpoint.”
Satan knows that every package from God to man must pass through this spiritual port or checkpoint. Therefore, Satan has assigned controller spirits to man this spiritual checkpoint, in order to intercept or to know the contents of every package sent to man by God.
Satan aims at hindering these answered prayers or divine packages in order to get man frustrated, or to make him to question God’s love for him. He also tries to create doubt in the heart of man, with the ultimate goal of discouraging him from serving God. But God is wiser than Satan. He sent the Holy Ghost to stay with man on earth and to empower and lead man into spiritual battle with the forces of darkness that dwell in the heavenlies at this spiritual port or war zone.
The Holy Ghost is also present with the believer and assists him to clear his or her goods held up by the illegal spiritual custom officers at the spiritual checkpoint. The believer’s prayers bring down heavenly law enforcement agents (angels of the Living God), who give ultimate orders from God and Heaven, for the divine answers and packages to be released to the believer who prevail in the battle.
I guess many people are familiar with how goods are cleared at the Sea Ports. If you import goods from, say Germany, your goods would arrive after a number of days. You are then expected to go to the Sea Ports through which your goods are expected to pass, armed with your bill of lading and other necessary documents that will enable you identify, claim and posses your goods. Of course, this must only happen after you have paid the necessary custom charges.
But failure to claim your goods during the stipulated period of time, the agents of government, the customs department and their officers, will only allow you some number of days after which your goods will begin to attract demurrage on daily basis. If you fail to pay the demurrage, plus the other charges, you will forfeit your goods, as you will not be allowed to take possession of the goods. Your goods could eventually be auctioned.
Can we learn any lesson from this earthly illustration? A lot of people have their divine packages delayed at this spiritual border. These “goods” have stayed for too long at the “port” and have therefore attracted so much demurrage that it has become almost impossible for them to pay and claim such goods.
The devil has therefore auctioned the blessings of so many children of God. Why? The simple reason is that many have refused to claim what belongs to them from the spiritual border port.
When God package goods and sends them to you from heaven, He expects that you should be able to clear and take possession of them. But if you fail to collect them because of one reason or the other, you forfeit such blessings.
A brother once had a very vivid revelation. He was awed when he beheld the largest warehouse no one has ever constructed on this planet earth. The warehouse occupied hundreds of thousands of kilometers.
In it he saw all kinds of goods; cars, household goods, plots of lands, palatial buildings, children, husbands, wives, schools, academic certificates, certificates of incorporations, international businesses, promotion letters, and so on. There was nothing lacking in the place.
He was then taken on a tour of the largest warehouse in human history. He asked the man who was showing him around in the warehouse, whose goods those were – dusty, dilapidated, rusty and almost rotten.
“Whose goods are these?”
The answer shocked him.
“These goods were the blessings sent from heaven by God to His children, but their owners have been unable to claim them. They could not be taken back to heaven because they have been signed off and released from heaven.”
The brother who had this baffling dream kept on wondering at what he was beholding until he woke up.
