When you are dead to self and alive to God, obeying God becomes easy. Jesus submitted His will to the will of the Father, and that made it easier for Him to obey. When you surrender to a point where anything God says is final, obeying Him will be very easy.
Read John 12:24 from your Bible
Get to a point where anything God tells you, you are out to do it immediately. We do not obey God based on our feelings but based on His word.
Read Job 22:21 from your Bible
Submit to God and be at peace with Him; in this way, prosperity will come to you. You cannot partake of all round blessings if you do not submit totally.
If you claim to be a child of God, and you find it difficult to obey you are deceiving yourself.
It is said that, spiritual maturity is not measured by how high you jump in praise, but how straight you walk in obedience. Maturity is how you walk with God. It is not the excitement without obedience. You have not paid tithe and you are in the congregation saying to the man of God in ecstasy, “Ride on sir!” Do not deceive yourself; just make sure you submit to the Word of God.
Whatever God says is final. Take it raw and swallow it all – that is what I mean by submission.
Do not do the wrong thing because your spouse is doing so, rather, be controlled by God’s Word. Do not walk by your feelings just obey God and what is written in His Book (the Bible), which is His Word. Do not do something because somebody else did it; do it because God’s Word said so. Do not stop obeying to pay your tithe because of the hardship in the world, get to a point where you are word-ruled, and obeying God will be simple.
When a man is carnally minded, as the Bible had said (Romans 8:6), it means that he is ruled by his or her senses or feelings.
If you are walking in obedience, your prayer points will reduce drastically. Most of your prayer points are in the area you just need to obey God, and the answer will just come. There will be no need raising prayer points on finance if you are obeying the scriptural principles in the area of finance. For peace to reign in your home, the man or the woman must obey the scriptural principles governing marriage. Some spouses find fault in everything at home; do you want to marry an angel? Love in the home will make you not to see faults in your spouse. If you are busy looking for fault, just know that there is no love.
If you use your anointing to replace obedience, you will end up in annoyance.
