Beloved, prayer and fasting are powerful, but there are two forces that terrify Satan far more: obedience and revelation.
You can pray for 40 days and still walk in darkness if you don’t obey God. Satan does not fear your noise in prayer; he fears your alignment with divine instruction.
📖 “To obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” — 1 Samuel 15:22
When a man begins to walk in obedience, he becomes a terror to darkness. Obedience gives your prayers weight in the spirit realm.
Secondly, Satan fears revelation knowledge. Every time you gain light from scripture, you take away a weapon from his hands.
It was not prayer that defeated Satan in the wilderness; it was “It is written.”
Look at men like Smith Wigglesworth, Apostle Babalola, and Kenneth Hagin—they were men of revelation and instant obedience. When God speaks, they move. That is why darkness trembled at their appearance.
May you be a man and woman who not only prays but walks in revelation and obedience. That is what Satan truly fears.
