One of the greatest secrets I’ve learned about life and destiny is this:
People are divine systems. Relationships are spiritual channels. Associations are not ordinary.
Every major season of your life will be announced by a person.
And every major attack of the enemy will also be introduced by a person.
This is why discernment is not a luxury; it is survival.
Look with me through the Scriptures:
When God wanted to lift Joseph, He sent Pharaoh’s Butler.
But when the enemy wanted to ruin Joseph’s peace, he used his own brothers.
When God wanted to strengthen David, He sent Jonathan.
But when the enemy wanted to kill David, he sent Saul; the same man David honoured.
When God wanted to raise Moses, He sent Jochebed, Pharaoh’s daughter, and Aaron.
But when the enemy wanted to stop Moses, he used Pharaoh, stubborn Israelites, and even Miriam and Aaron at a point.
When God wanted to announce Jesus’ birth, He sent the Wise Men, Shepherds, and John the Baptist.
But when the enemy wanted to kill Jesus, he sent Herod.
Same God.
Same devil.
Different assignments.
Different people.
This is why you must pray,
“Lord, open my eyes to who is entering my life and why.”
Not everyone who smiles at you is sent to help you.
Some are sent to distract you.
Some are sent to slow you down.
Some are sent to monitor your progress.
Some are sent to study your weakness.
Some are sent to waste your time.
And just because someone entered your life through a good door does not mean they came with a good intention.
Delilah entered Samson’s life as a lover but came as a weapon.
Judas entered Jesus’ inner circle as a disciple but came as a betrayer.
People are doors.
Some doors lead to destiny.
Some doors lead to destruction.
That is why Jesus said, “By their fruits you shall know them.” (Matthew 7:20)
Every blessing God wants to send you will come wrapped in the body of a human being.
Every battle the devil wants to start in your life will also come wrapped in the body of a human being.
Your destiny is too precious to open your heart carelessly.
So today, pray for the grace to recognize:
Your Jonathan from your Saul
Your Elizabeth from your Delilah
Your destiny helpers from your destiny drainers
Your lifting connections from your limiting connections
Because at the end of the day…
The quality of your associations will determine the quality of your destiny.
Hope this makes small sense?
shalom!
