In God’s agenda, breaking precedes making.
Sometimes God will break what you are holding so He can replace it with what He has prepared.
He will break your pride to make you usable, break your plans to establish His purpose, break your heart to rebuild it with wisdom, and break your limits to reveal His glory.
Like the potter in Jeremiah 18, God is not afraid to press, crush, or remold the clay; because He already sees the masterpiece within the mess.
Just as Jesus broke the loaves before multiplying them, some blessings only manifest after the breaking.
So, if life feels like God is “breaking” you, don’t misinterpret it. You are not being destroyed; you are being prepared.
You are not being reduced; you are being reshaped.
You are not being punished… you are being processed.
In God’s kingdom, brokenness is not a setback — it’s a setup.
He breaks to make. He prunes to multiply. He refines to reveal.
And after the breaking comes a version of you that you never imagined.
In God’s agenda, breaking precedes making. Nothing do you!
shalom!
