We have established that life itself is a battle. Everyone on earth, no matter the divide you belong, is in a battle field. It is also worthy of note that God has already equipped us for victory. Hence, the scripture says: “we are more than conquerors.

These battles are not peculiar to us or to our generation.
People in bible days fought battles, and many people after then fought battles and many are still fighting. And after we are gone, battles will continue. Nobody is immune to battles irrespective of their social class or spiritual status.
What I intend to do is to make you abreast of the reality of these battles, and to be aware that they cannot be wished away. It is also my expectation and belief that adequate knowledge will put you in an advantageous position to overcome.

What is Battle?
Battle means a hostile encounter or engagement between two or more opposing forces.
In the context of this write-up, “battle” means a hostile encounter or engagement between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness/wickedness. They aggressively attack us because of the kingdom we belong to. They oppose our every move and seek to resist our progress.

These are unseen forces from the pit of hell and the only way to overcome them is to operate absolutely by “Faith in God’s Word”. That is how we fight, and the fight has been described as “a good fight” (1 Timothy 6:12).
Battle also means a combat between two persons.
It can also be defined as a military fight between groups of soldiers, ships, airplanes, etc.
Remember that a christian is a soldier (2 Timothy 2:3). Hence, you must study the bible to equip yourself and understand the reality of warfare so that you will not be caught unawares when battles come.
In subsequent write-up, I will try to expose how these battles originate so that we will be able to handle them effectively.
