Read 1 Corinthians 2:9 from your Bible
Love is what grants you access to the Father’s secrets. Your best friend has access to your greatest secrets; love is what grants him that access. That is why whereas you don’t tell your secrets to your next door neighbour, you will spend so much money on telephone and postal bills to tell your secrets to your best friend who is thousands of kilometers away.
Your love for God is what determines how much of His secrets you have access to or that He reveals to you. God has reserved His best for His lovers, so when you are able to win His love, He releases them unto you. You pour your heart out to only those you are in love with.
The love of God is what makes you God’s confidant. David loved the Lord so much, that he enjoyed unusual success on the earth. And in turn, God channelled His very best (Jesus Christ) through his lineage.
Thus, when you are able to win His love, you are crowned a winner on the earth. But to win His love, you have to first give Him love. Jesus said, “If you love Me, all things that I have of My Father I will show it to you.”
