You must not handle this kind of prayer haphazardly. You must be definite about it. For example, if you can choose a particular day of the week when you devote ample time to pray about the issue of marriage, you will achieve wonderful results. Such an allocated time must be regular. Marriage is so important that apportioning one day to it is a wise investment. From that particular day, you will focus on the issue of marriage and give less thought to other areas of life.
That reminds me of what somebody said: “What is good needs prayer so that it does not become bad. What is bad needs prayer so that it does not become worse. What is barely okay needs prayer so that it can be taken to the maximum level.” You must therefore, withdraw your prayer concerning marriage from the general list.
