It is easier for a man or a woman who is filled with the Holy Spirit to receive clear information or direction from God. If you have not yet received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you must pray for the experience. Don’t go into marriage without being filled with the Holy Ghost. You may be looking for serious trouble as there are many tough areas of marriage which someone who is not Spirit-filled cannot handle.
The Bible says: “For we know not what to pray for. The Spirit himself helpeth our infirmities with groanings that cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26).
This passage shows us that the human mind is not capable of knowing how to approach prayer perfectly. When you are Spirit-filled, you find it easy to pray correctly. For example, you can pray in tongues concerning your marriage.
