The message for the Body of Christ today, is found in Revelation 3:7&8.
The Lord Jesus Christ is speaking in these verses. We know Jesus is the One speaking because verse 7 says, “. . . These things SAITH HE THAT IS HOLY, HE THAT IS TRUE. . . HE THAT OPENETH. . . .” Jesus is the One Who qualifies as the Holy One and the True One.
By saying this, Jesus is giving us a description of Himself. He is revealing His character to us.
What is His character?
Jesus is holy and true. Those qualities are aspects of His character.
Therefore, the first thing Jesus revealed about His character in Revelation 3;7 is that He is holy and true. You see, Jesus could say He is holy because no fault was found in Him by God, by man, or by the devil.
