This is a symbol of a curse flowing like a river in a particular family. It represents evil, problem, etc. As long as the river is not pure but contaminated, it signifies something bad flowing from one generation to another.
When you see such in your dream, do not panic. God is simply calling your attention to it. What you need to do is stand upon the word of God and cut it off from your life in the name of Jesus.

“Well of Water” and “River of Clean Water” are both symbols of blessing.
I pray that every river of affliction, barrenness, contamination, etc. flowing into your life from previous generation be cut off in Jesus’ name.
