Men, be careful who you unzip your trousers for to have SEX with‼️🤷🏾♀️ Be very careful of who you unzip your trousers for. . . The woman or women you slide into🤷🏾♀️.😒
Sexual sin will assassinate your mission faster than anything else. You might think you’re enjoying the moment, but what you are really doing is trading your destiny for a few minutes of dopamine.
The Bible doesn’t shy away from talking about human failures and frailties. The onus is on us to learn, pick up lessons, be taught, be rebuked, be comforted, and grow so that we are fully equipped.
We glorify Solomon’s polygamy like it was divine strategy. Yet that door was first opened by Judah, who stepped out to sleep with a prostitute, Tamar, not realizing he was birthing a pattern.
A pattern was born ‼️A pattern of SEXual iniquities and death ‼️
10 Generations later, 10. .we see David. He was at a wrong place, in the wrong time. He suddenly spoted Bathsheba bathing and the lust of the flesh took over.
In moment of sin, he opened a legal doorway to all his sons that he bore while in Hebron. That one moment became a doorway.
David had seven sons born in Hebron before he became king over Israel in 2 Samuel 3. Their names were Amnon, Chileab, Absalom, Adonijah, Shephatiah, Ithream, and one who died unnamed.
Almost all fell, not by the sword, but by sexual sin and rebellion, the very spirit that Judah and David their father had invited.
Amnon, who should have been the firstborn of promise, burned with lust for his half-sister Tamar. He could have married her lawfully, but lust never wants covenant, it always consumption.
So he raped her, and paid with his life at the hand of his brother Absalom.
Then came Absalom, who should have been the heir of honor, avenged his sister’s shame, but rebellion soon became his second nature.
His father had slept with another man’s wife in secret, Absalom would sleep with his father’s concubines in public, on the rooftop, in broad daylight, before all Israel (2 Samuel 16:22).
See, sin always escalates. . .That altar feeds. What you hide in private, your children will parade in public.
Then came Adonijah, David’s son full of ambition. He desired what belonged to his father, including his last wife, Abishag. That request, cost him his life in 1 Kings 2:13–25. Lust always ends in death.
Then came Solomon. He was wise, gifted, favored yet still not free. God appeared to him twice, but even divine encounters cannot replace inner discipline. . .and our choices 🤷🏾♀️
Solomon loved many foreign women, his heart was turned away. His sexual appetite was unsatiable. . .The Bible records, “Until iniquity was found in him.” It wasn’t ignorance. It was inheritance‼️
Judah, when he slept with Tamar thinking she was a prostitute, left behind his seal, cord, and staff.
The seal represented his identity as the godly man who leads his household.‼️
The cord represented his authority.‼️
The staff represented his legacy and leadership.‼️
He literally left his identity, authority, and legacy in the hands of lust, and many men are still doing the same.
Every time you unzip your trousers for the wrong woman, you are trading your authority, identity, legacy and leadership.
You drop them as you drop your trousers.🤷🏾♀️
If you do not confront your struggles in your lifetime, cut the cords, seek Christ and deliverance from those shackles, they will multiply in your bloodline.
What you fail to crucify, especially the flesh, it will resurrect in your children. That’s how generational iniquities are passed down.
Just as a woman must be careful in accepting a proposal, as a man, you must be discerning before extending one. ‼️
Men are designed to give their strength to the right woman. A godly wife does not drain your strength, she multiplies it.
She takes the seed of your strength and births legacy. She takes your vision and builds an empire around it.The consequences of a wise choice are glorious, and you obtain favour from the Lord.
The cost of a foolish choice, is generational pain.Even Lemuel’s mother warned him in Proverbs 14, against giving his strength to such a woman‼️
Many men can testify that there’s no hell like being bound to a woman who wars against your destiny. The wisest path is always distance.
“Do not stray into her paths,” that’s what God says.
Guard your loins, they are gates.
Guard your seed for it carries generations, because every time you unzip without discernment, you’re not just exposing your flesh, you’re surrendering literally everything at the altar of distraction.‼️
Sin is always in a hurry.
shalom!
