PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR DREAMS — THEY ARE NOT JUST NIGHT MOVIES

I have realised that one of the most abused, ignored and underestimated channels of divine communication is dreams. And honestly, that neglect has cost many believers clarity, warning, direction, and victory they should have walked in effortlessly.

Yet… God is still speaking through dreams.

The same God who warned Joseph in the night (Matthew 2:11–13), who confronted Abimelech in his sleep (Genesis 20:3–5), who cautioned Laban not to harm Jacob (Genesis 31:24), and who revealed the economic destiny of Egypt to Pharaoh (Genesis 41:25); He has not retired from speaking in the night seasons.

The Bible makes it even louder:

“In the last days… your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” — Joel 2:28

If God spoke by dreams in Scripture, and Scripture insists He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8), then dreams are still a valid, vibrant, and active channel of revelation today.

A dream is not merely a mental movie; it is a window into the spirit realm. It is illumination granted when the soul is quiet and the physical world is on mute. Both God and the enemy know this; so both try to use it.

Dreams warn.

Dreams reveal.

Dreams expose plots.

Dreams unveil blessings.

Dreams prepare you for what’s ahead.

Joseph’s entire journey to the throne began with dreams. Solomon’s life-altering encounter with God took place in a dream (1 Kings 3:5–15).

Some destinies rise or collapse on the basis of what they saw, or what they ignored, in their sleep.

Yes, not every dream is spiritual.

– Sometimes it’s malaria.

– Sometimes it’s garri overload.

– Sometimes it’s your daily thoughts replaying at night.

– And sometimes the enemy throws nonsense to distract or intimidate.

But none of these cancel the truth:
Dreams are a recognized channel of divine communication.

The tragedy is when believers casually shrug off spiritual signals with, “It’s just a dream.”

That “just a dream” could be a warning.

That “just a dream” could be a revelation.

That “just a dream” could be a divine instruction.

That “just a dream” could be an arrow fired at you or a blessing released to you.

And if you ignore it, you may never know what to claim or what to cancel.

There are two dangerous categories of Christians:

  1. Those who don’t dream.
  2. Those who dream but can’t remember anything.

Both are vulnerable.

Both are blind in battle.

Both are walking without night-vision goggles in a world full of spiritual traffic.

But God can restore your dream life.

He can sharpen your spiritual senses.

He can awaken what has gone numb.

So right now, by the authority of Jesus Christ:

🔥 I command your dream life to receive fire.

🔥 Your spiritual eyes open.

🔥 Your night seasons become channels of clarity, encounters, revelation, and victory.

🔥 No more spiritual blindness in the night. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pay attention to your dreams.

Interpret them with Scripture.

Respond to them with prayer.

Test them with the Spirit.

Act on them with wisdom.

Your dreams are not an accident; they are an assignment.
