The devil also uses the weapon of enticement to sin against Christian believers. Sin is one of the devil’s cheapest tools. When you sin, you yield your ground to the devil and lose liberty. The devil also uses unbelief and doubt as instruments of defeating men and women. As long as you doubt God’s power and ability to defeat the devil, you will never win the battle against him.
However, if you are born again, by inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior, you are admonished to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-11).
To be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might is to be strong in the WORD and be filled with the Holy Ghost praying always in the SPIRIT.
To put on the whole armour is to wear the various aspects of the armour which symbolize spiritual truth.
