Read Revelation 21:8, 2 Thessalonians 2:12, Proverbs 21:6 from your Bible
They are as follows:
- If you are a liar, you will attract liars into your life. For example, when you consult a doctor, he would be telling lies to you, everybody surrounding you will be deceiving you with their lies.
- The person telling lies will lack understanding.
- He would not enjoy permanent success, because all the lies built up will be apprehended by the truth one day.
- A liar will end in bondage and failure and he would think he is being harassed by the enemy without knowing that he is reaping the reward of lying.
- If you tell lies, you become a fool, says the Bible.
- A liar will eventually be punished.
- If you are telling lies, the lies will always come back to harm you, that is to torment. This is tragic.
- All liars will go to hell.
When a believer is asked to tell lies against somebody, even if he is at the point of death, he should say, “no, I cannot tell this lie.” Those who are truly free, don’t fear death, it then means that if you are still afraid of death, you are in bondage. The devil will not fear you either as he will always resort to threatening you with death.
