The church must stand against the forces of darkness in every locality.
“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth” (Eph. 6:13-14).
It is the duty, responsibility and privilege of the church to stand against the works of the enemy. The armour of God that we must put on covers our front. There is no armour that covers the back, meaning that we cannot turn our back to the battle. We have no option than to fight and move forward. Turning your back to the battle simply means death and destruction. We must take a stand for God and righteousness. We must take a stand for warfare and victory over the evil machinations of the enemy.
