This is an indication that the spirit of death is hovering around the individual experiencing these kind of thoughts. It is the manifestation of a death covenant, or terminal water spirit (Ogbanje).
In most cases, this set of people begin to see dead friends or relations in their dreams. They could also see coffins and grave yards in dreams.
A dear sister who, according to a spiritual covenant, was supposed to die at the age of 25 years.
At that time, she was becoming apprehensive of her death in the next few weeks. She had just accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and was not ready to die as agreed with the spirit world long ago.
I did not have the knowledge I possess now about the evil spiritual world. I just stood my ground as one who has been born again and having Christ’s power and authority. On that ground, I ministered to her and broke the covenant. I am glad to report that she is still alive, and now married with children. Hallelujah!
The Good News!
The good news is that Jesus has paid for your freedom from the spirit of death already – however, you are required to appropriate your freedom and victory by faith through prayer and fasting.
Read 2 Timothy 1:10, Hebrews 2:14-15, Revelation 1:18, psalm 91:16 from your Bible.
HOW TO APPROPRIATE YOUR FREEDOM/VICTORY OVER THE SPIRIT OF DEATH/SUICIDE.
FAST AND PRAY FOR 3 DAYS FROM 12 MIDNIGHT TO 6PM OR AS YOU ARE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
CONFESS THESE SCRIPTURES FROM YOUR BIBLE BEFORE YOU COMMENCE THE PRAYERS.
2 TIMOTHY 1:10, HEBREWS 2:14-15, REVELATION 1:18, PSALM 91:16.
PRAY MORE IN THE SPIRIT (TONGUES) IF YOU HAVE THE GIFT – ROMANS 8:26 & EPHESIANS 6:18.
Don’t spend less than 5 minutes on each prayer point at any prayer session and you should pray atleast 3 times a day minimum.
Pray like this:
- Every covenant of death over my life be nullified by the covenant blood of Jesus – Col. 2:14, Isaiah 28:18 (engage the blood of Jesus and stay on this prayer point until you receive a note of victory – encounter).
- Every altar of death speaking against me be destroyed by the blood of Jesus – Deut. 7:5
- Every curse of death operating in my life I break it in the name of Jesus – Gal. 3:13.
- You spirit of death operating in my life be destroyed by the blood of Jesus – Hebrews 2:14-15, Revelation 12:11(engage the blood of Jesus and stay on this prayer point until you receive a note of victory – encounter).
- Every bondage and yoke of death upon me be destroyed in the name of Jesus – Isaiah 10:27
- Every stronghold of death in my life be destroyed by the blood of Jesus – Revelation 12:11
- Every arrow of death operating in my life I reverse it in the name of Jesus – Matt. 18:18.
- Every suicidal thoughts I cast it down by the blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus – 2 Cor. 10:5
- Declare psalm 91:16 over your life in Jesus name.
Thank God for the victory over death.
