The act of obedience must be done continually. It is not once and for all, rather, it should be once and again.
Read psalm 119:44 from your Bible
If you are paying tithe, pay it consistently. If you are showing love to your wife or respecting your husband, do it continually, irrespective of the circumstance. Anything God tells you to do, do it consistently and He will keep blessing you.
