“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds”(2nd Cor. 10:4).
A stronghold of the mind refers to a mind impregnated with hopelessness, that causes the believer to accept as unchangeable something that he or she knows is contrary to the will of God. This stronghold comes in many ways. The enemy can have us convinced that our city or nation is beyond redemption, sins are too much, and corruption has run so high and deep. He will try to set limit on what we can believe. He would make us forget or act and talk contrary to Mark 9:23. We must repent of our mind-set of doubt, unbelief and negative confession and tear down the fortress in our minds that it cannot be done.
