Obedience is practical adherence to God’s instructions. It is a behaviour that is always respectful and mindful of rules and laws. Obedience is doing what you know or what you are told to do. It is following duly what God’s Word says irrespective of your present circumstance. It means you are dominated and overwhelmed by God and His Words. It is simply taking God’s Word as your final authority and responding to its demands. Biblically, the meaning of obedience in the Greek translation is to listen attentively; to heed or conform to a command or authority.
For instance, hearing a sermon on evangelism or soul winning will not produce result until you move out to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to win souls. To benefit from any message that you have heard, you must obey what you have heard.

From the above scripture, you will find out that poverty is a function of disobedience more than economic circumstances. Pressure and poverty are products of disobedience. If you are under pressure and things are tough for you, there is somewhere you are not obeying God.
You can be a prayer warrior and a fasting giant, if you walk in disobedience, things will not work for you.
