Battles can also be physical. Joshua was recorded to have fought many physical battles as he led Israel to the Promised Land. Many of us also fight physical battles with neighbours and colleagues at work; e.g. lawsuit, battles over properties, etc.
In Nigeria today, we are confronted with terrorism. It is an example of a physical battle. Whatever strategy that has been adopted to fight the insurgents, whether air or land must be physical. Armed robbers, kidnappers, assassins, etc. are also examples of physical battles.
