Read Deut. 18:9-12 from your Bible.
The major force of ancestral spirits are really familiar spirits. They study every member of the family – their mannerisms, tendencies, etc.
Sometimes, they can put on the form of a dead person. If you have familiar spirit like them, you will begin to see them.
Major power of the false prophets are backed up by familiar spirits. When you consult them, all they do is invite your own familiar spirit to come; this will supply them with all the information they need about you. And by the time he gives you some simple prophecies, you are already confused as to how the prophet got to know so much about you.
All the false visions and false prophecies are backed up and ignited by familiar spirits. All the negatives, counterfeit sensations are products of familiar spirit.
Perhaps when you were just born and was about to be christened, it was a prophet who prophesied your name. You have to pray about that name.
Satan attaches one spirit to an individual, to a person or a family to watch them closely both from outside and from the spiritual realm.
They dutifully collect information about a person’s life, his talents, work, neighbors, his potentials, the way he responds to situations, and so on.
After they have obtained all this information, then go on to kill the child. When another child is about to come into the world, the same familiar spirit enters into him too, to make him look like and, behave like the first one.
Familiar spirits manipulate people to do what they should not do. They have spiritual phone lines to obtain information. If you have gone all over the place be sure that some agents may be following you now. They are busy transferring files from person to person to keep track of many people.
All those things that keep passing from one generation to another are responsible for this trend. Those evil family traits, genetic diseases and all the evil inheritance are supervised and followed up by them.
When there is a curse upon a family, familiar spirits ensure that this is perpetuated. If somebody with a familiar spirit in a family dies, he or she will transfer the evil mantle to another person.
I know some people who, any time they see in their dreams, their dead father or mother, they move so close to them that familiar spirits are transferred in the process.
In those dreams, they are usually given specific instructions to carry out.
However, familiar spirits can be cast out in the name of Jesus according to Mark 16:17. (Read it from your Bible)
Nevertheless, to be able to do this, you have to give your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God so you maybe able to stand against the wiles of familiar spirits – Ephesians 6:10-11.
To be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might is to be strong in the Word and be filled with the Holy Spirit constantly. To put on the whole armour of God is to wear the various aspects of the armour.
